Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of {legalEntity}’s LUMORQ platform. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
Purpose
LUMORQ is designed for businesses to manage consented customer conversations on official Meta channels (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger).
The platform is not intended for spam, cold outreach, bulk unsolicited messaging, or any activity that violates applicable law or third-party platform policies.
Prohibited messaging
You must not use LUMORQ to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages without a lawful basis and proper consent.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse recipients.
- Phish, scam, defraud, or distribute malware.
- Impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations.
- Collect or harvest contact data for unsolicited outreach.
Voice & telephony
Optional voice features (e.g. via Twilio) may only be used for transactional communications such as order confirmations related to a customer’s existing transaction.
Robocalling, telemarketing, cold calling, and use of purchased lead lists are prohibited.
Platform compliance
You must comply with Meta Platform Terms, Commerce Policies, WhatsApp Business Policy, and any applicable Twilio acceptable use requirements.
You are responsible for opt-in consent, privacy notices, opt-out handling, and message templates approved by Meta where required.
Illegal & restricted use
You must not use the service for:
- Illegal goods, services, or activities.
- Sanctions evasion or dealings with prohibited persons or jurisdictions.
- Adult content, gambling, weapons, or other categories restricted by Stripe or Meta.
- Deceptive or unfair business practices.
AI usage
You must not use AI features to deceive recipients (e.g. impersonating a human without disclosure where required by law or platform policy).
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content and maintaining appropriate human oversight for sensitive topics.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in spam, abusive automation, fraudulent activity, or violations of third-party platform policies, with or without notice where permitted by law.
We may report illegal activity to authorities and cooperate with Meta, Stripe, or law enforcement as required.
Reporting violations
Report suspected abuse to support@lumorq.com or support@lumorq.com. Include relevant message IDs, timestamps, and tenant details if you are a team member.
We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within Within 24 business hours during Sun–Thu, 9:00–18:00 GST.
Policy changes
We may update this AUP. Continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
